The Expanding Horizons Student Board is a leadership group for students who have participated in our Youth Conference or Summer Academy. Members help guide youth programs, plan events, and represent their peers while developing essential skills in leadership, teamwork, and civic engagement. Board members often attend the Tribal Youth Summit, where they meet Native students from across the country and tour national monuments in Washington, D.C. As one of the few Montana groups to participate, this trip provides a unique opportunity to connect with peers, gain a national perspective, and bring inspiration and knowledge back to their communities.
The Student Board comprises high school and college student representatives from urban and rural areas across Montana.
