Velma Pickett, Apsáalooke, studied at The University of Tulsa and Dartmouth College and has created an extensive career in politics.
She has worked for the Crow Tribe Legislative Branch, Bureau of Indian Affairs, as a real estate appraiser for the Crow Tribe, and as a project director at Little Big Horn College.
